— About Us

From a cornfield in the summer of 2005, the seeds of Trussworthy Components were planted. Growing well, Trussworthy Components built and shipped its first set of trusses in April of 2006. By 2009, the 'Great Recession' had forced us to focus on things that people wanted the most - mainly impeccable quality and great service. Because of a great core of determined employees, and by the grace of God, we excelled during those uncertain times while over 25% of the nation's truss companies closed their doors. It was no accident that our motto became "Quality is in the Details". Our current staff has a combined experience of over 200 years in the building industry; of which over 100 of them are truss industry specific.

We started out with just one manually operated component saw and two manually adjustable truss tables. Over the years we have almost doubled our floor space and are now using state-of-the-art computerized saws, auto-jigging truss tables, and a laser-guided setup system (we still have the manual saw by the way). While most of our orders are job-site delivered within a 100-mile radius, we have shipped our components as far away as Montana, Wyoming, and Mexico!

Even though we are a wholesaler to lumber yards, we still welcome people to stop in and discuss their projects with us. We want to be your partner in your project, as we strive in getting things correct the first time around. Here's a little more info about us along with some pictures to show all the different things we do for our employees and their families.

— Fun Things We Do In The Community

As a way to show our appreciation to our employees for their hard work and dedication to building quality trusses, we have a holiday party at the end of each year where the employees and their families can come together and celebrate with dinner, bowling, and other various activities. We also do a tubing trip to Ski Gull where we spend a couple of hours hanging out while going down the hill.

— Holiday Happenings In front of our building every year we have a Christmas display. This display, along with a company float that we construct, is entered into a contest and can be viewed by all during its exhibition in the local seasonal parade.

— Good Eats With a Sense of Belonging

Trussworthy also has cookouts for the employees for the holidays, in which during a work day surrounding a holiday they will have lunch or breakfast made by the office workers ready to go with a longer lunch break than usual allowing time to play horseshoes, since there are two regulation horseshoe pits on the front lawn.

We also celebrate every employee's birthday with whatever dessert they like anywhere from cake to cookies in whatever flavor they choose.
